Who We Are

Pelican Performance is a Jetski and PWC repair shop located in Vista California specializing in strictly watercraft. We do everything from routine maintenance, to full custom aftermarket hull builds. Pelican Performance has been owned and operated by Austin Lewis since 2019 and since opening he has striven to earn new customers from all ends of the PWC spectrum.

SoCal has long been a Jetski hotspot since the first Kawasaki JS400 launched in 1976 with the test pilots doing trial runs in the Carlsbad Lagoon. We are proud of our region’s prestigious heritage and intend to continue that legacy by providing superb parts and service towards anything watercraft!

We carry all the best parts from both OEM and aftermarket manufactuer’s. More importantly we have years of experience using and installing these parts so we can guide our customers to the right solution each time.

2 Hours Plus Parts

Four stroke annual service;

  • Check battery and cable ends

  • Grease battery terminals

  • Check all hose clamps and main fasteners

  • Inspect fuel system to determine fuel condition

  • Inspect jet pump assembly

  • Inspect control cables; steering, reverse and trim

  • Lube and grease all cables

  • Change engine oil and oil filter

  • Change any orings associated with filter cap/cover if required

  • Change spark plugs and use anti-seize lube threads and prevent plug seizure in cylinder head

We offer full trailer service and repairs;

  • Full, one-off custom frame ski haulers to move your entire fleet

  • Stainless hardware, and wheel hubs with ceramic ball bearings. 100% salt and sand proof, one less thing to worry about.

Austin started Pelican Performance in 2019 and has been fixing skis and growing his reputation ever since. We found our current shop location in January 2023 and the rest is history!
